Question for the Atlanta folks

I'm interested in getting some footage of the lake off the morgan falls dock. I called the sandy springs response center and they said that they don't have any regulations against drone flying (or quadcopters as I prefer to call them).
The park can get pretty populated but the lake is empty.
Has anyone flown from here before and if so, what was your experience like there?

I'm actually in Atlanta myself, visiting atm, so I would be interested in anything I should be aware of. Because I'm in the city I was planning to just ascend take some vacation pictures and then descend again.

Piedmont park has some fields that some people use. I've never flown there since I'm in Dunwoody. Was gonna go check it out once I'm able to walk comfortably again (Racquetball injury - sprained ankle).

Morgan falls in Sandy Springs seems like a good place to drive to; walk less than a half mile to the dock; setup and go.

anybody ever fly there?
