Question on “Set current rc location as home point” in Dji Go 4 with non gps iPad.

I use a non gps iPad mini most of time for flying my Mavic air.
I have seen the setting in Dji go 4 where you set the current rc location as home point.

This setting does not use the remote right? I am guessing the gps access for this setting comes from the device (phone with gps) , not that the remote has gps built in.

If this is the case this setting won’t work with my iPad mini right?

That allows you to set the home point to the current location reported by the GPS receiver in your mobile device. If your mobile device does not contain a GPS receiver, you won't be able to use that feature.
