Quick release for mavmont

Hey guys, I have a quick question. Is there a quick release to help me separate my 7.85 CS from the mavmount? Or am I pretty much stuck with the two screws

I'm talking out of turn a little bit it seems that the Mavmount might work with the one of the DJI mounts. It seemed like the P4P version... One sec.

Nah, it doesn't look like they make something.... There are several companies that make a plate to mount the standard Crystalsky mount onto so you can use it in a similar way to the Mavmount. Otherwise, I and a lot of others really like the DJI Crystalsky mount for the Mavic. Eliminating the need to hook up a cord was the best part for me. A close second was not having to assemble anything and how solid the package is.

I replaced the supplied screws with some thumbscrews for a while, to make it a bit easier...

But eventually got fed up with that as well, too much hassle - so I did this: Another modified MavMount for the CS Ultra

There you go! I knew I'd seen something for this.

I thought about suggesting something like this but I wasn't sure how it would mount and I didn't want to advise ruining his Mavmount.

Not sure what stops the front of the bracket from moving though (on their newer plates)?

I think the cut out and groove would keep the mount from twisting

here's an update to my CrystalSky mount mod...
previously was utilizing the Mavmount3.0/CS-adapter using 2~1/4-20Hot Shoe adapters as height spacers to avoid usb-c/cable interference....& my newer thumb screws... well now i recieved my DJI-CS/QR bracket & had my MavMount3.0 modded to fit the QR bracket...! heres some pic of the out come,which im super pleased of the outcome....
