Meaning what? Unless I've missed something, RAW only applies to stills in general parlance. The equivalent video, 24 bit per pixel unprocessed uncompressed data per frame would fill up your SD card so fast you couldn't practically record anything.
Video compression, which takes advantage of the slight changes from frame to frame to throw out most of the raw data, is absolutely necessary.
