Red Rock Canyon Park - Quick Question

Regarding this video I did on Quick Shot mode - is there a way of adjusting the height on these automated programs in the DJI GO app? BTW, this is about 15 minutes outside of Las Vegas. If you get sick of the casinos and the strip, I highly recommend this park for hiking and change up things while is Las Vegas:

Nice video you got there. Question, does it freak you out to allow the drone to fly so far away like that?

I'm new to the drone scene and I always wondered what went thru operator's minds when doing shots like this!

Well, as relatively new to the drone scene as well, I will say that the rock solid technology built into the Mavic and accompanying software lends confidence to even the greenest of operators. That shot you see there is completely automated. Once you see how reliable it is, you just don't worry about it, which makes learning to fly and learning how new features work so much more fun.

I suppose you're right, I was originally petrified to just launch it off the ground on day 1!

As was I. I left it in beginner mode the first few times. But actually, reading posts on this forum form experienced pilots made me less nervous about it, after reading how solid the Mavic was. Just take it to a wide open area and play around with it. You'll totally dig it.

Yeah I see how to adjust the distance, just didn't see where to adjust the height. I'll watch it though - thanks for posting!
