First time poster, loving the mavic so far, but I had an odd issue with it today.
Took it out for a ten min or so flight which went fine, then drove to a different spot and took off. I was out in fields without any power lines or other obvious sources of interference. My phone (Galaxy S8) flashed up with Remote Controller Connection Error, and I lost control of the Mavic. It started RTH by itself back towards the corner of the field but the controller showed no error messages on the screen. I turned the controller off and on and managed to regain control before the Mavic landed. Carried on flying for another couple of minutes and it happened again. This time the Mavic RTH and landed by itself. I didn't want to risk further flight and came home.
Googling shows a few people having issues where the phone disconnected but they still had control of the drone, but I lost control.
Any ideas?
