Posting this for a friend.

how easy is it to remove the rubber paddle stays on the M2P controller, I don’t use them but would like my polar pro mount to fit nice and snug on the controller.

I tried to take them off an M2 controller but they dont screw on, I think they are glued. On the MP controller, they were easy to remove with 2 screws:

Hi Rob, are you talking about these, picture below. I would also like to know if they come off easy or if they need to be cut off. FA844A21-CAFD-4190-9192-913C1485BD4F.jpeg

I’ve just removed my paddle stays on the controller, there are only glued in place. Now my polar pro mount fits perfectly.;) It wasn’t an issue before but I just wanted to do it.

1st photo, rubber stays removed.

2nd photo, Polar pro mount fitted nice and snug;)

I’ve never used the paddle housings so it’s not going to be an issue for me. Both parts came off with no damage so if I wanted to refit them I can;)

Neat mod.....now if PolarPro would just make the base plate correctly with the outer edges parallel the base plate would fit the controller arms correctly.

Totally agree with you but sometimes to make things work a little mod doesn’t hurt;) especially when I never use the paddle stays;)

There’s not correct/incorrect position for the arms, hence why they were designed that way, to accommodate different size screens. The mod I did was purely for a seating position, so the frame fitted to the top of the controller.

@Alaskan so in your eyes using the below setup is wrong because of the arm angles?

So many people fly using an iPad mini;)

you mean like this? The arms fit flush & parallel on the mavmount 3.0...And with the DJI crystal sky bracket mount bolts on flush onto the RC & locking tab, I also drilled & tapped The rear of the bracket installing an eye-screw which anchors it down even more securely, Solid as a rock won't budge at all

You should of posted your latest photos, the above ones have still got the plastic cover on the usb cable;);) great mod on the movmount.
I wasn’t to keen on the size of the ballhead thingy (for transport in my new case)
I know polar pro have just bought out a new mount for the CS, I think that fits ok,, no mods needed.
