They should rename where I live "All Smokes Corner". I live in Clear Creek Canyon, halfway between Hwy 50 (from Carson City to Lake Tahoe) and Clear Creek at the base of the canyon.
The winds and the topography forced smoke from every single wildfire in Northern California into my little canyon. Combine that with the crazy heat that we've had, and I've been effectively living in a cage for the last 3 months. No droning, no motorcycle riding. The only good thing about it was that I discovered the joys of having things delivered, rather than going to the store.
More smoke today. Maybe a slight break tomorrow.
Does there exist, or is anyone working on, a drone with 3D camera capability? Not for high-end movie shots, just to provide a wee bit of depth perception.
Is anything like that in the works?
