Simulate loss of control link

Hi there,

I have my UAV flight assessment in a couple of days and one of the things being asked is to break the control link between the transmitter and receiver and then have the aircraft set up that it will revert to fail safe mode. and return home for a safe landing.

I've done some research but can't find for the life of me how to do this, can someone kindly point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the quick reply Kilrah - appreciated and I take it once that happens depending if I have it configured in the app it will RTH. Would the same apply if i was only using the RC remote and not having it connected to my phone?

Yes.

RTH will be auto initiated 3 seconds after the remote controller disconnects from your Mavic. Using the default setting, your Mavic will return home. You can change the action it takes when losing the remote controller connection in the following section of DJI GO:
