Slow ascent/descent

I am a new pilot but it seems that my last several flights the MM mini is slow to climb and descend. This is subjectively compared to previous flights. simply pushing the left stack forward seems very slow And pulling back the stick is the same.

My flights have been early in the morning at around 28 deg F which may be a factor. That said forward/back and left/right on the right stick seems to respond normally.

any thoughts?

No I’m using the normal P mode. I do see faster performance when sport mode

From 6:01.0 until 6:25.0 you gave the Mini full left stick up (in P-GPS Mode) and the drone climbed from 6.9 ft - 163.4 ft.
That's 6.52 ft/sec or 1.99 metres/sec.

Specs for the Mini state:
Max Ascent Speed
4 m/s (S Mode)
2 m/s (P Mode)
1.5 m/s (C Mode)
So the climb rate at 6 minutes appears to be quite normal.

I looked at a full down throttle Sport Mode descent from 6:40.0 until 6:58.
The mini descended from 188.3 ft - 14.4 ft.
That's 9.66 ft/sec or 2.94 m/s ... which is normal according to the specs.

1.8 m/s (P Mode)
1 m/s (C Mode)

The Mini is quite a bit slower than other DJI drones but the data I looked at indicates yours is no slower than the specs.

Thanks for the quick feedback! I guess my observations were wrong. Glad to know it’s working within spec
