Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone on here has used anyone local to Glastonbury /Wells in Somerset UK for a drone repair?

My drone (Mavic 2 Pro) middle casing has cracked by the front arm so looks like it will have to have 4 arm repairs to be able to thread the wires through the replacement chassis. So looking for someone who can do the soldering work.
Any suggestions welcome

Many thanks
Kerry

these guys may know someone local to you

What do you mean 4 arm repairs, do you mean you have a new arm and you want the wires to be soldered onto the mother board. ???

Yes. As the middle casing is cracked the only way to replace it from what I can tell is to de-solder the 4 arms so the cables can thread through the holes in the replacement casing, then they need to be re-soldered back on.

Yes that’s correct, I have the new middle casing so need to remove old one and replace it. I’ve dismantled the M2P but didn’t realise in order the remove the arms they would need to be de-soldered. I’ve not done any soldering so before I attempt it and bugger my drone further, I’m trying to find someone locally who can assist with the de-soldering then re-soldering of all 4 existing arms. Sending away to a drone specialist isn’t really an option at the moment as most are saying approx 7 days to get me a repair quote then up to 3 weeks to get it repaired.

Do you have a small shop near by that do sales of tv"s and repairs, we have one in cumbria that do small soldering jobs for me at a low price
