At 300 grams T/O weight, the SPARK is under the .55 kg rule and therefore does not fall under the draconian Canadian drone rules. Hmmmm, any offers on a very lightly used Mavic Pro?

Unfortunately new Canadian recreational drone laws apply to drones that weigh more than 250 g and up to 35 kg. As Maxwell Smart used to say, 'Missed it by that much'

What .55kg rule? My understanding is the rules start at 250g.

D'oh! Must be selective memory disorder.... I wonder if those prop guards weigh more than 50 grams.....
0.55 lbs is for the United States sUAS Registration.

So pull off the prop guards, drill holes, strip everything not needed and maybe it will fall below 250. I'm sure someone will try it and let us know!
