I received the Mavic on Sunday and I want to make sure I have a reliable product within my return / exchange period.
Step 1 was the calibrations. I did them all.
Step 2 was the flight test. I flew for about 90 min yesterday. I tested maneuvering, signal strength, flight modes, precision landing, obstacle avoidance, range, etc. etc... I didn't use any of the video or photo capabilities.

Step 3 I want to do a good image quality test but what should this include?
I've seen a lot of extensive threads about video settings and I am hoping there is be a repeatable method for testing video and photo quality.
Best subject material, distance? What settings to bracket, etc?

Thanks, in advance for your comments.

Find a flat, level area with lots of contrasting, small detail in it. Hover over it at 300'. Snap some JPG's. Verify for even detail (focus) across the image.
Example as you can see, it is sharp on the right, soft on the left. Focus was on the centre.

DJI want me to send it back. Again.
