Hello, My name is Thomas. I have been flying drones since 2016. My story is quite simple and hilarious. Drones are everything a pilot wants when navigating around, in the air, with distance and speed. Before today's drones, there was only fixed-wing RC or helicopter RCs. Now the sophistication you hold in your hand is unbelievable.
Anyway, I started ordering drones from various sites... including from China directly. It was not long after crash after crash did I discover GPS was the way to go... then the quality of transmission during flight became an issue. Honestly, did not want to even review a DJI product and thought the cost was exceedingly high. However, my life changed once I took the plunge and bought my first of 3 Mavic Minis. The tech involved in these drones surpasses most of the drones out there. I finally could fly into areas that I once only dreamed of. And since buying a DJI I have only had one crash that should have been the death of the mini but it was not.
Today I fly almost daily, collecting pictures and videos as a hobby and testing my drones to be able to give feedback to forums such as this one. Thank you for reading
