Turned Mavic Pro on without removing gimbal clamp

Forgot to remove gimbal clamp before powering it on, it went through it’s normal startup. Could I have damaged the drone in anyway permanently?

Dont think so, had forget myself a few times. Just dont make a habit of it. Also try to attach a ribbon od sort the holder. That helps to not to forget. Happy flying.

Does the gimbal still function as expected when you power on your Mavic? If so, you're good to go.

I haven’t but then again I read these forums a lot before I first flew and had my “remove before flight” ribbon before I had my drone

I remember to remove clamp before flight, but I forgot a couple of times when I turn on to connect to my laptop or update firmware at home.
