Unknow if Mavic Air Remote is Charging

Today when I plugged in my Mavic Air remote controller I did not see any light blinking so I don't know if it is charging or not......I am going to leave it plugged in over night and check it tomorrow.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is it possible that it "IS" charging but the lights aren't flashing?

Would be trying a "new charging cord" be the first option to solving the problem? If so when can I get one.

Would this be covered under DJI Care Refresh

i dont know if care refresh covers the controller but it is possible if the port is damaged to have it fixed by a reputable repair center and the port comes complete with a new cable and the remote has to be opened to fix it you can purchase this yourself if you are confident to repair it there are videos on the internet on how to do it

I would check if fully charged first, before sending anywhere.
When it's unplugged, and you press a button, what appears on the lights ? (If anything ?)
It should show the approx capacity of the controller charge.
