unlocking license disconnected

I have a valid unlocking license but when I go to sync it to my mavic is says disconnected. Any idea what is disconnected and how to fix it?

I think I may have an answer
Looks like the serial number I used off the back of the controller is different than the one I used successfully previously
Found a different number in the unit under its vital statistics
Going to try it again
Waiting a long time for the zone map on dji site to load

This was my issue. The Flight SN within the vital statistics was completely different than the one on the back. Not sure what that means. I added the vital statistics number as the one I was trying to get authorization for and it worked perfectly. Thanks for info.

The serial is the one of the flight controller inside the aircraft, not the controller you hold in your hands.

Thank you for this post! We used the answer provided by Kilrah to successfully set up my husbands drone. He too had put in the handset serial number at first.

Hi can you be specific on where you changed this? I’m having the same issues and my flight controller S/N is the same as in the unlock license. So frustrating, I lost out on taking forage today because of This!!!
