Unwanted Yaw

My Mavik air 1 wants to yaw with no input from the conrols.

Props seem good, the blades are smooth with no apparent chips or scores. Have to say I have used these props for 2years or so.

Thus could it be the controls being "sticky". I give them a flick to sort any off centre problem..

Its not serious enough to prevent flying, just a nuisance if hovering ....

Why don't you put a fresh set of props on and calibrate the IMU to see if there is any change?

My spontaneous yaw went away after doing a stick calibration. The other possibility is contamination in the controller. Somebody posted a video of how to clean this, but I wouldn’t consider that until I recalibrated my sticks.

That works for me too. I always exercise the sticks rapidly before start-up and if the drone starts that slow yaw in flight, I give it a quick flic. That always seems to solve the problem and I've just learned to live with it.
