Use your OEM charger in the car

Well I have a 2011 Ford Fusion with a constantly on 12 plug. When the car is running the charger works fine but when it is off it will work for a few minutes and then the "save the battery" function of the charger will cause the battery to stop charging. Since these Mavic batteries are so small changing them will not kill my battery. Is there any way to disable this "save the battery" feature?

Whilst on a three month camping/driving holiday in Italy, this summer, the DJI car charger's need to have the engine running was a real pain. What was DJI thinking?

Had I known if this problem before my holiday, I'd have taken the mains charger and used the inverter that I had with me. I only took this for a couple of items that were mains only. You live and learn.

It's not a safety feature, the fully charged car battery simply does not have enough voltage to charge Mavic battery. DJI car charger is of cheap design, a pass-through of input voltage to output. It's garbage. Just use a power inverter.
