Video download problem

Hi All,
Whenever I download footage, either video or stills, I remove the SD Card from my Air2S and use a genuine Apple card reader for download to Apple IPad.
During the download of some files the download stops and a red triangle with an exclamation mark appears. I am then unable to download that file.
No matter how many time I try the same thing happens with these files.
I have ample storage available on the iPad, over 100 gig available.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advise?

Have you tried copying individual files one at a time instead of as a group? Yes, it will be tedious if there are many files but maybe you will see a trend (i.e.; large files causing the problem).

Is your SD card specs fast enough? Have you formatted the card prior to use? maybe it has a bad sector?

Especially if you are shooting 4K etc. You need the very fastest cards. They are CHEAP today.
