I know that the Litchi app is not suppose to be able to do actions if using curves. But I have read where numerous people use curves and implement the action of "start recording" on a straight line and with a "stay for 5" second action. I can't get this method to work regardless of how many "stay for" seconds i use or how straight the line is where I place the waypoint to start the action.
Am I just out of luck with trying to use actions while using curves?
I just like the way it films much better using curves without the brief stop at each point when using straight lines mode.
I know I can just record manually but hell why not use technology to make it all really simple and consistent when I want to film the same POI many times.
Anyone found a solution?

I would set a waypoint just before where I wanted to start recording and pause there to check focus, white balance, and other video settings. Once satisfied I would start the recording and continue the mission.

You can set Litchi to start recording video on launch.

I use this to get a video of the whole flight, and then edit, as necessary, after the flight.
