Just got my first (real) drone today, the Mavic Mini 1, but haven´t flown it yet... got to get a new phone first...
But from the little experience i got from my cheap 85€ Eachine E520S i'm sure i'm going to love this hobby.
Can´t wait to start flying the little bugger!

Toy drones are easy to crash.

DJI drones are easy to fly.

Get a apple phone . you will have better luck on apple then android
