My guess is that it's either a wolf or a fox, considering how the steps form an almost perfect line.

Very nice photos.

Auto-exposure tries to "normalize" scenes, so that snow and white sand beaches are underexposed. To get a more accurate image, you might set the exposure bias to +2 or so.

Thanks! Since I shot them in RAW, I intentionally edited them to be slightly underexposed.
