Will not connect

Is there a problem with remotes
Brand new out of box today and will not connect to phone.
Rc does not see the phone at all
Updated the mini drone on assistant app to see if this would help and updated nicely but assistant app does not see the controller at all when that’s plugged in.
So neither does phone or assistant on lap top seethe RC.
Drone will not link with controller either
Tried the manual pairing and it bleeps but when you connect phone to Rc it says not connected.
I use same phone on Mavic pro with no issues

Cables ok tried ones off Mavic pro
Also assistant doesn’t see it either off same cable that was used on drone

Sounds like it’s defective. I’d send it back since it’s so new.
