Winter/Spring Photo - How to make it?

Hi all,

I saw this photo on instagram - Instagram post by Featuring Best Drone Photos • Dec 15, 2017 at 10:02am UTC and I really liked it! And I was thinking whether its possible to make such photo with the mavic?

My idea is to take 1 Photo and then somehow save the exact coordinates of the photo and the in some way be able to send the mavic a couple of months later to the same spot. Is this possible?
If not how was this shto taken?
