    I've become the drone police

Have you checked the TAFE website to see if the RePL is offered near you? I know it has changed since I did it late last year, but not sure what has changed. One change I'm aware of is that you do several weeks of theory before you fly a drone, then I think only 3 drones can be airborne at any...

    I've become the drone police

The Mini Pro can fly in the Excluded category if you use the standard battery .... however that's only an issue if you're within 3nm (5.5 km's) from an airfield. Apart from that you will be fine, noting the usual routine cautions - over 30m from people, not above people at all, max altitude of...

Yes very good point. Sometimes wear and tear might render these numbers hard to read. Sorry ... given the above I was assuming air travel was intended but you never know.

You can only transport batteries rated under 160Wh onto a flight, otherwise they must travel as Dangerous Goods. DJI drone batteries are well under this, but the precise specification of the battery will be in the User Manual...

    I've become the drone police

Not really .... but having clear knowledge of what you can and can't do is really important, and I can't stress that enough. I recently earned my Cert III in Aviation - Remote Pilot (RePL). I was fortunate to do this as one of the fee-free TAFE courses in north-east NSW. What it has done though...

If you are that close to an operating airport then you will need to fly an Excluded category drone (Mini) that is 249g or under, making sure you are not flying in landing/takeoff corridors. Ok2Fly.com.au is the best at this. Always good to cross-reference, but for the most up to date advice...

National Park legislation preventing drone use

At this point it's important to reiterate what you are allowed to do. For example, CASA regulations give you a ceiling off 120m/400 ft. If you are standing at a lookout that is 300 ft above the floor of a valley and fly horizontally out over the drop-off, you need to factor in your new height...

Panorama in Lightroom automatically being stitched - Help!

I'm quite sure it's set to RAW ... another thing to check though. I find it annoying when you switch modes and the camera settings are all as they were when you last used that mode, rather than carrying over from the mode I used seconds earlier.

Panorama in Lightroom automatically being stitched - Help!

Thanks for the advice. The pano was among a number of single shots, so delving into the 'Panorama' folder at least helps in this instance. I've had one thought, and that's maybe the type of panorama that was selected was a sphere, not a standard? Something isn't stacking up, and the photos I've...

Panorama in Lightroom automatically being stitched - Help!

It's a terrific demo. I think part of my issue is that I did not take the shots manually, I set my Mini 3 Pro to pano mode and let it go to work. As mentioned previously I thought I could change the number of shots it will take, but it doesn't appear to be the case. I have since charged up my...

You've wasted time reading, but felt fit to waste more time by making childish insinuations? Got it.

Panorama in Lightroom automatically being stitched - Help!

Again ... why do you end your post with a snark? Why not be constructive? It's clear you still haven't read the thread. The question isn't even about Lightroom, but the process itself. The reason for asking is because I know that Lightroom doesn't automatically stitch. You are literally...

Panorama in Lightroom automatically being stitched - Help!

Are you for real right now? Whether it's the drone itself or Lightroom is somewhat irrelevant if you actually spend 5 minutes reading this thread. I've used Lightroom for years and have stitched countless panoramas, many of which i've gone on to sell commercially. However having pre-compiled...

Panorama in Lightroom automatically being stitched - Help!

Thanks for all the replies. I'll try and address each point made. - I found the Panorama folder, but I previously thought I had put them together (previous drone - Mavic Pro Platinum). I don't do them all the time so I'm not losing a lot of sleep over it, and the main content I was after has...

Panorama in Lightroom automatically being stitched - Help!

Thank you ... yes I found the Panorama folder. Pulling the relevant images together isn't going as hoped. I took 2 pano's with the drone so it's a bit of a jumbled mess. Normally when shooting a bracket with a camera I'll take a photo of the ground so I have a 'divider' photo, so I can tell...
