And answering to my question in the first post "What I really want is to point camera from WP1 to WP2 and then take control of the heading to WP3." the answer is:
WP1 -> Follow course
WP2 -> Follow course
WP3 -> Manual
Now I set headings:
WP1 -> Manual
WP2 -> Follow Course
WP3 -> Custom Heading
Starting at WP1 the nose first turns to North.
Then during WP1 to WP2 course the nose turns gradually to the direction defined by WP1 and WP2 until it arrives to WP2.
During WP2 to WP3 course the nose turns gradually...
I finally could make a test.
Heading changes apply from the previous WP to the present one.
So if WP1 heading is set to Follow Course and WP2 to Manual, the course between WP1 to WP2 is in Manual mode.
Same applies to gimbal pitch, WP2 setting is used during this course.
I’ll try today the...
Working from the Fly app.
WP1 Heading is set to Follow Course ('Aircraft heading follows course direction'). This means WP1 to WP2 course the aircraft always heads to WP2?
WP2 Heading is set to Manual ('Applies to flight from previous to current waypoint')
How can that be understood?
What I...
Here still waiting for SDK for tha priced Mavic 3. Also wanting display bearing angle from the north. Old useful tools DJI app had have been removed like manually drawing lines (were light blue) in the map to help flying in the fields as it was in GO app (Phantom 3)
Hi,
Also doesn't worth for me spend $39 for HoudaGeo just time to time look at the precise point in the map where the photo was taken.
Below is the GPS part of photo taken with a Phantom 4 Pro that GeoTag reads and marks the point in its map.
It is strange that underlined data is in the same...
Geotag is a useful free app I use for years.
It gets and outputs geolocation data, date and map of photos.
It is possible to add coordinates when they are not saved from the camera.
I use it to check locations or add data of photos I've taken with SRL or mirrorless cameras and my Phantom 4 Pro...
No need to record a video, it is visible a first sight.
I made test with a flash light:
I still cannot find another pilot that had the same issue and posted in Youtube around a month ago.
Thanks for your reply.
It is the regular neutral filter that comes with the M3 from factory to protect the lens. Not one of the pack of NDs that comes with the combo.
I'm not going to make test without lens protection. In any case what I could do is to make it with the ND4

Around 3 weeks or so I remember a Youtube video showing the same problem. I cannot find it, I don't remember how did the author or DJI solved that.
This is unacceptable, all point of light have those vertical glares.
Lens and filter are clean.
What can I do?
Thanks
AFAIK all programmed mission apps return the quad (P4P in my case) when the battery is low. The program regain the mission from the last WP. We don't have to do nothing but change the battery and continue the mission.
I'm not flying a mission, only free inspection flights in the fields.
I'm...
