If you are using the same remote controller for both, the problem is likely in the remote controller. If this is the case, I would try reverting to a previous update.

I believe there are two locations for images on the controller. One is of the thumbnails used for viewing on a controller and the other is the actual high resolution files.

What location are downloading from? If not directly from SD card, try that. I remove my SD card and download from a USB card reader.

In terms of Drone technology, I wholeheartedly agree. However, there are many questions having to do with privacy. One of the greatest objections to Chinese companies, although this may not apply to DJI, is that they steal American patents and Innovations.
