Agreed. Those are teenagers being teenagers and even with those kind of [serious] charges, my guess is hours of community service will be the outcome based on a plea where they'll resort to picking up at and cleaning the beaches for the entire summer. I can see the DA doing the calculations...
LOL hopefully that isn't necessary since in the US, you are generally protected once you officially drop off the product to the common carrier. For portals like eBay and Paypal, they use the tracking number to establish this to some extent. However, if someone were to intercept your package...
I would just be wary of any price for the dji oem extended battery available for any price except the one msrp price. that battery price doesn't tend to fluctuate up and down over time. So if you see the price mistake, I would buy it. Otherwise, check closely to make sure what you are getting.
Agreed and he should know if that's all he can do. Just gotta get use to the risks I guess. Kinda such they likely destroyed his stuff and then shipped it anyway so he would take the blame.
My guess is they use the details found in the work order. If they are going to do something about mismatches, it would be at submission time they should notify the sender and decline to accept the repair request. Obviously if you fill out the form and the actual product that arrives has been...
In the US, we can drop off packages at third party locations but they are generally "authorized" locations who keep records and/or scanning for incoming packages so the sender is able to at least transfer some of the responsibility at the time of drop off. Never heard of dropping off at a gas...
^This is rampant across all federal agencies. Only Congress is supposed to make federal law but agencies are making up their own as well. It's getting out of control. No way to address this except from the inside of a courtroom.
[clarification] ....because you don't know the password. Ok to use another or someone else's account like a friend or relative, you just need to have their details such as the password.
If you bought a second hand drone and now you are looking for second hand batteries so you can get second hand prices, Amazon has been known to sell "renewed" OEM batteries for US$10 less but that's about all you can expect.
Good story. I agree there is a role for drones in law enforcement. But I believe the people should make the rules for their usage and law enforcement should obey those rules in addition to the other standards like the Constitution. Just because drones come along doesn't mean we need a bunch...
When you "activate" your drone and if you choose DJI care refresh optionally (which requires an extra binding step on most new drones), that's the extent of the formal contact you need to make with DJI initially. The details contained in your DJI account are sufficient to notify DJI.
I've never had it happen to me so I can't tell you the exact steps but I recall this topic coming up previously in a few other thread so this might be helpful:

TikTok lawsuit; would be epic if they won; however, it is unlikely for reasons you know why. Lesson to DJI:
