Well that didn't take as long as I thought it would, set to 2.8 only has the same issue. While at a boat landing which did not have anything right next to it for "power" or other items that might affect the transmission, I still lost video and the app "crashed". Drone was about 30' horizontally...

Felix le Chat you were correct that the controller default for video transmission was in dual band, for now I switched it to 2.8 to see if I still have the issue. But will be hard to prove as we don't know just when it was going to disconnect. I also find it "scary" that all other information...

Sorry, to clarify the 2020 was drone and smart controller "upgrade" from the older original Mavic. (I have only had SC for this drone) Thanks, will check the dual band setting and post what I find. I have had 2 near full battery flights without issue. (And no changes that I'm aware of doing)

Thanks! Do you have plans for the Remote ID "upgrade" that sounds like we can get vs buying "hardware"? I have no clue if we will need to update the android version or just what will be needed. Everything had been work so well. :)

I you have a lost drone, don't give up looking! Remember your GPS is only going to get you so close, make a circle keeping the location above in the center, use a rope if you need too to keep track of the search area. (I found mine in Sept after I lost it in Feb 2020. repair estimate is $300.00...

Almost no traffic even near it! So what is the story with the boat inside the park but in small trees???? (Near the end of the flight) They could save some coin by shutting off the billboard only the drone can see. . .
