I'm just getting my feet wet in thermal. Is the M3T worth 2.5 times that of an M2EA thermal? I already have 2 Mavic 2 Pro drones so I already have batteries, props, etc.

I fly with an iPad or iPhone and no smart controller. Is that what you mean? I know it's rhetorical but why can't the technology determine what the chips inside are doing as far as sending data???

How would the government restrict or ground DJI drones? Can gps satellites restrict what devices read positioning? Is it prudent to purchase a DJI drone now or hold off until this gets settled?

I think I figured it out. Apparently the DJI Go4 app was not starting at the beginning screen so it wasn't checking controller firmware level. Tapping the DJI hot spot in the upper left corner put me to the starting screen and it noticed the firmware needed to be updated.

I have researched but it's not clear...Does the Mavic 3 Enterprise have a Hasselblad camera like the Mavic 3 (non-classic)? I want a drone to use for photography and also for mapping with a mechanical shutter. How important is the cine 5.1k recording function?

Thanks, it sounds reasonable, but Italy requires liability insurance. From what I'm reading about the policy it's really for lost/stolen/damaged items.

This question has been asked before but buried in other posts. Can anybody suggest where to get drone liability insurance for a month for Italy (and Switzerland)? I looked at coverdrone but it doesn't cover US citizens.
