The waterfront if allowed to fly there. Lots of good restaurants, have lunch at the Chart house. If you can try and get some of the rivers heading out to the ocean.
so I saw some guy douse his in rubbing alcohol I guess which would push out the water. He said he let it dry for a couple weeks and it worked. I am thinking I will give it a week or two on the heating vent then give it another try. When I turn it on now I don't hear the tones, camera and gimbal...
Was video recording the flooding river when lost perspective and flew into a tree in reverse which resulted in a splash landing into the water. Lucky for me I was able to recover the drone in about 2 feet of water, the lights were on and the internal fan was still running. I am drying it off...
Here is a story of a guy who got arrested for not doing anything illegal whatsoever with a drone. Granted that it was probably unwize but didn't seem he flew it directly over people's head like they made it out to sound like and he launched it from outside of the the fairgrounds. So what did he...
My biggest fear is getting attacked by one of the hawks around here. Had to put my Mavic Air into sport mode to get away from one chasing me the other day at the park. I could not outrun him and had to take Evasive Maneuvers like Sulu on Star Trek. As far ask getting struck by a drone, the Pro 2...
I brought up google maps to calibrate but it was 100% accurate as I faced in different directions they are spot on. But when I run the DJI app and head directly away from me it shows it about 70 degrees to the right. Lands exactly right on target. I will re-calibrate the drone compass anyway to...
Did you guys see that? They showed an Inspire Drone and in a polite way mentioned that they have a permit to fly a drone over the event and for others not to. Very cool shot of the drone, hopefully will change drone sentiment with the public
Anyone else have this happen? I was using my little dish reflectors so was trying to keep the remote facing the drone. The scope id not match the real direction of the drone. I assume that might be Compass calibration but on my phone or the drone?
