Its too thick. And that stuff can clog vent holes and $#!t. My mini 3 pro seems to overheat pretty quick just sitting there, I wouldnt want to add to that.

Just register the thing. Its five bucks. Whats a drone police? Never seen one. Maybe if your that guy that mounted a pistol on his drone, then you may have something to worry about.

I do wraps to make it more visible. Crash in the woods and you can find a blaze orange drone easier. As for added weight, not enough to make a difference. I register my mini’s anyway, its just five bucks.

I bought a Hubsan GPS drone for $200. On its first day it decided that its ‘return to home’ was still in China and flew off over the forest never to be seen again. The $399 original DJI mini refurbished flymore combo that replaced it has had few issues. And it knows where it lives.
