Drones/GPS use signals that originate from satellites, not telecom towers. Phones may use telecom towers signals when GPS is unavailable, drones do not. Otherwise drones would get lost in remote areas with no cell reception.

Sorry to say but I think this sort of flying is lunacy and inviting further restrictive legislation. If you want to fly obstacle courses do it in area well away from uninvolved people.

Since the app will only show logs flown under its login I think that there MUST be some information recorded in the log that IDs the login in some way. Unfortunately that information is not shown in the log. Drat.
