I'm currently visiting the US from the UK. But it won't let me download this app. (it says app not available in your country). Obviously because I'm still using the UK PlayStore. Is there another way to get this app?

I looked at Autopylot. I did not see an e-log book in the software. Am, I missing something?

I agree. This is a bigger issue for manned flights. If I had an engine out and was looking for a spot to land, an abandon strip would be a good option. When these old properties are built out, that option goes away. They should not be shown on the sectional for this reason, among others.

I have found that if you present a good case to the FAA, they will update the chart. I made a case to remove the Blue Ash airport just north of Cincinnati as it has been completely repurposed. I provided satellite photo images as support. It got removed from future sectional charts.
