LOL. Technology in modern cars these days makes driving a lot easier for sure.. But still, one needs to remain focus and alert during such long and monotonous drives. All part of overlanding fun
It was actually an amazing experience. There is also a section of Nullarbol Plain several hundred of kilometers long called "treeless". There are no trees there just occassional shrub. An empty space as far as eye can see. Incredible landscape but I admit, probably not for the fait-hearted!!!
Whoever is doubting the 166mm camera's IQ on M3P can rest assured that this camera is capable of delivering pretty decent photos and videos. That is of course in IMHO only🙂 A couple of samples below

What fisheye effect? Never heard of fisheye effect on 24mm lens and I've been shooting with 24mm lens on my DSLR for 20 years. Fisheye lenses are usually around 8mm, AFAIK.

There is a lot of confusion about the "need" of ND filters. Unless you are going to do a creative photography with long exposure aiming to blurr moving subjects such as falling water in waterfalls or similar, you will NOT need ND filters for photography in most scenarios. Just use shorter...

I have simply implemented these findings and anytime I need to do MF I set the focus accordingly.
Just to repeat what my M3P cameras need to focus accurately on infinity.
1x camera: 3 bars below the mountain mark
3x camera: on the last bar- the mountain mark
7x camera: 4 bars below the mountain mark
