One of my go-to places. Not only is it a beautiful area, a relaxing place to be and the vibes are good but Schnappers Restaurant has the best coffee, eats and a wonderful view over the bay and the yachts.
Edit, keep trying to attach the Yutube link of the video but it’s not working. The only...
Thanks for that. It’s my first video posting.. There have been some really professional videos shown here so I didn’t think mine were up to it yet. Will keep posting and hopefully get better as I go
Yes, telephone wires ! Only saw them when I viewed the video. It’s pretty scary to notice them after the event… especially over water. I really need to suss out the area more thoroughly next time before I fly.
Yes they have rowing competitions there. The last one was the state finals so a huge event. That walkway over the water links the tenants at the caravan park to the town. A huge improvement from previous when they had to walk along the road.
Yes, those telephone cables. I know the area but never knew they were there until I saw the video. Scary ! The tennis courts and swimming pool is a caravan park. Hardly anyone there at the moment. Yes, the over exposure. I will need to watch that.
This is where I live. The Goulburn River flooded last year wiping out all the cabins and caravans so they have recently repaired all the damage and built new cabins up on stilts. We wait till the next flood and see how it goes.
That is one hell of a market. My wife would love to be there. You are lucky to be allowed to do that as in Australia you would be in trouble for flying over a public area like that.
It was interesting to see the houses amongst all the trees etc but I would take it off the FVP setting as the tilting as you turn is a bit off putting. Keep practicing your stick controls for smoother operation. Keep the videos coming
Stunning. Is that a small stone structure to the left of the waterfall? Also, when you fly backwards from the waterfall whilst filming, do you fly towards it at that height to make sure you are going to clear the trees. I am always nervous about flying backwards.
I have some wonderful memories of fishing from that island when I was travelling around Australia. Lovely to see it again. Loved the video and nice sloth flying. Thanks for sharing it.
Iam always very cautious flying amongst trees coz the obstacle avoidance can miss small branches. Continual practice will make for smoother and more confident flying. Looks like an interesting area.
