Yes that is exactly the case - the hack is not permanent, you have to apply it every single time you change the battery in the drone. Never mind its only one small drawback. -
RThe file name certainly suggests that, however it seems to work for a variety of quads such as the mini 2 (me) and the 2CE, maybe more but we wont know until a list is created somewhere

Yes I have the latest firmware and this hack worked just fine, I increased my range significantly (I estimate at least 30% more). The ones you have to buy will eliminate the no fly zones and the altitude limit but if you go screwing around by...
