Yes, baddog....absolutely correct....and also there exists something like collateral damage.
Or in this case a side effect of putting the ND filter on...comparable to putting sunglasses on.
A little bit less bright light will pass through the lens, thus causing a slight reduction of flare.

My Mavic Pro will fly in Atti mode indoors when connecting to GPS is impossible.
This happens automatically when GPS is lost during a flight under a solid obstacle such as a bridge.
Any sensor has problems "seeing" obstacles when there is no difference in contrast.
Ceilings of any colour but a flat monochrome surface is not detected fast enough.
Also camera auto-focus will search for focus when there is no area with a different contrast.

Does using a ND filter make any difference?
I do not know if there is any possibility to fit a ND filter to the camera of the Mini 4.
I fly the Mavic Pro with filter attached, there is a big difference in picture quality.

Sure you should wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun.
I am talking about a hood to cover the screen of the controller and your phone screen from direct sunlight.
You can reach the controls through openings and even when you need to turn around the sun doesn't reach the screen.
Google for...
Did you ever take a look at sunschades for your screen.
Mine is from Freewell.
It is very effective preventing strong sunlight messing up your view on the screen.
Check out HitFilm Express.
It is free, so that price can't be topped.
Plenty of tutorials on YT to watch. But very easy to get started.
I think it is the best choice for a beginner to tip the toe into the cold water before committing to a expensive more elaborate software program.
Good Luck!

Hi, just my thought on this.
When you both go on a shoot, you already carry a ton of equipement.
Do you think it is a good plan to add another heavy thing to log around.
As you will be surprised by the picture and video quality of the air2 and the footage is only for a behind the scenes view...
Hallo Reinier,
Welkom bij ons hier op het Mavic piloten forum.
Nice to see more countrymen becoming members.
And of course I am excited to see your pics and vids of our national treasure Biesbosch.
Do use us, your new circle of friends, as your teachers and bank of knowledge.
No need for you...
When seeing a bird approach you best ascend as the climb rate of the drone cannot be matched by the bird.
Descending is not a good idea as the bird is nimble and will dive after it.
Upon the swift ascend take evasive manoeuvres and then try to descend.
One more reason to fly VLOS.

Be aware, as from January first, new regulations apply for flying in Europe.
Look up local drone laws before running into LE.
I am not enough informed about recognition of USA license, maybe a Scottish member here can help.
On the other hand there is so much uninhabited space that you have flown...
Hello,
I visited Scotland and I flew my Mavic Pro. I wish I would be able to visit again this year.
Indeed the weather conditions there are unlike any you've seen before.
Especially around the munros it can be quite windy with unexpected gusts.
As said before the ground camera already is...
