I was really considering getting a DJI Spark but I recently found out drones are now legal to fly in NYC as long as they are kept under 400ft and away from the major airports. Can anyone confirm this as true? If so, I'd rather purchase a Mavic Pro for a few hundred more. Thanks!

Does DJI warranty cover eBay purchases? Not from a second hand seller with a used Mavic, but there are sellers with brand new Mavic Pros and they say it is covered by DJI warranty. I have some ebay gift cards, so I'm debating on purchasing this from there

Your right, I figured you would have to get permission from a ranger but it's a no go. Does anyone know if this is legal to use in carribean islands or Europe? Being from New York City makes it difficult to just of this purchase which is disappointing because I really want this.

I wanted a drone for a few years but never found one I really liked until the Mavic Pro. I think it is amazing, but the only issue is I live in Brooklyn, NYC. I am getting very unspecific knowledge on drones and the law in NYC. I wanted to know if I can fly the drone in my house without issue...
