Pics of the "leaked mavic 3" and a proposed "leaked mini 3" look virtually identical.

I also echo what Saladshooter has said above the Mini 2. We would never have considered the Mini 1, so I can't personally compare the two, but the Mini 2 is a very good drone. And our benchmark is the superb Phantom 4 Pro.

    Thinking of Starting Drone Buisness

Hi zhuebner Learning to run a successful business has got to be an extremely useful skillset that will bring additional life rewards in itself. But this is easier said than done. And to do it properly, even on a part-time basis to begin with, will take a lot of work. I'm a huge fan of the...

Mavic 2 Pro vs Mini 2 for motorcycle travel

Hi mferring. We're fans of the Mini 2, which is a great lightweight drone. But if you've already got another DJI drone that fits into the same/similar sized bag and you're happy with it, then why get another one? We love New Mexico, by the way, having worked there on several occasions. All the...

Mavic Mini 2 vs. Original Mavic Pro - Considering a change

Hi Tracer. We only fly for work and our standards are high. We have mainly used the Phantom 4 Pro Plus, which is a superb drone. Compared to the rest of our equipment, we have found it portable for overseas assignments. That said, we got the Mini 2 in December last year for those times when we...

Storing the batteries in the Hub or Drone? Maybe not

GadgetGuy: I don't understand your reply to me (as above). I was simply reporting that our Mini 2 batteries, when left fully charged in the hub, do not discharge at all. They remain at 100% charge several weeks later. Knowing that this is not good for this type of battery, I thanked Ian in...

Storing the batteries in the Hub or Drone? Maybe not

When we have had fully charged batteries unused and left in the recharging hub, they have NOT slowly discharged by themselves. From comments by others on another thread, we are not alone. I will be taking note of what Ian in London is saying. It's appreciated, Ian. ?

Couldn't stay away from DJI. (New Mini 2 FM on the way)

Hi Nick. You'll be impressed. We mainly fly the Phantom 4 Pro Plus (solely for work), but have added the Mini 2, It's a great drone, capable of very good output

    Flying birds and drone safety

I should add that there are plenty of videos on YouTube where hobbyists have used drones to film wild animals. Most are embarrassing - not for their poor filming skills, but more so for the shameless and careless disregard for seriously disturbing the wild animals. It's obvious. As Stevie Wonder...

    Flying birds and drone safety

It's simply untrue to say that wildlife isn't stressed by drone activity. And it's equally untrue to say that wild animals quickly get used to drones. You might be confusing wild animals that have become too accustomed to human presence where interactions commonly happen - which might give the...

    Flying birds and drone safety

Birds are far more aggressive than the general public believe. And it is their safety that we should be concerned about - even more than that of our drones (although the two effectively can be grouped together). Birds of prey, such as eagles, are the biggest threat - and we have no less than...

    Heck, I'm going bald

My two wonderful women would testify that the first three side effects are not at all an issue (and, to be exact, the same is true of the last two). Your use of the word "common" is highly misleading. And every medical drug has known side effects. There's a "risk of death", for example, if you...

    More wind

It all depends how you define "drones". Spacecraft can fly to and from, and just above, the Moon. And they don't need to have humans on board.

UK: A2 CoC - Too easy?

Hi Tig. I agree with you. Far too many examinations are nowadays more or less worthless. Passes are given out like sweeties. It's more become a box-ticking exercise, rather than genuinely raising the standards. It's a race to the bottom - instead of aspiring to be genuinely up there with the...

Dji mini 2 pictures/videos are grainy and pixelated

I would agree with Meta4 that your computer probably isn't able to deal with 4K files. We got a high-spec Dell laptop to download files for editing.
