    Not deleting the post, just in case, but seems like having the phone still connected to the cell network won't help. We don't get good cell signal out here, so next time i fly, i will go out in airplane mode.

    It is a blue tooth tracker - how will that help if the mavic clears off miles away? Or have it got it wrong? The one i am using - you can text it, and it gives you a google map location back. - accurate to within a few feet.

    That answers it then. I have a Chinese TKStar - again, cheap, does the job. Will look at the one you have though - good to have alternatives.

    I got a Gear 360. Will be putting it below my phantom 2, not the mavic. The mavic looks too cool to have an eyeball.

    hi I had a Phantom 2 ( still have ) - but with the reports of many flyaways, i attached a separate ( cheap / small) GPS tracker to it, so i could ping the tracker and hopefully, it would tell me how far back to china my Phantom had made it before crashing. Fortunately, never had to use it...

    What's availability like now, any UK stock of the Mavic Pro?

    Argos worked for me. 3 days lead time. Mavic now hidden under sofa until I can work out how to the wife. Could only get the mavic though, nowhere has the flymore pack.

    It's still in the box - not sure how to tell the wife I have actually got one :). Will fly tomorrow - most probably as a divorcee.
