With my Nvidia sheild k after starting the go app I fined litchi will not work because the usb then becomes dedicated to the go app. I have not found the setting to change this.
From remote it is standard USB. The one at the bottom middle of remote. The other end at the k1 is micro USB. And yes the video to goggles is mini hdmi both ends.

I use the k1 with my cinemizers. That would be a mini hdmi at both ends. But the cable from remote to the k1 is a USB to micro USB so that would be two cables total for the cinemizers.
Mine works good but some times when the wind ripples the surface the sonic detectors on the bottom will tell me that it is an unsafe place to land. I just make sure it is centered and give full down command to land.
