    From US to Germany ?

Also a good idea is to pre load the area maps where you will fly as many rural areas do not have good mobile connections.

    From US to Germany ?

You will have no issue. I luckily have traveled all over Europe and the world with either my Mavic Pro, Mavic Pro 2, Spark, Air and Mini. The chargers all handle 100-220 50/60hz. Just get an adapter plug to plug into the European plugs. Also make yourself aware of the local laws and regulations...

GPS Tracker For Flyaways - Any Interest?

In answer to your question: I have flown beyond the Marco Polo range. If it did go down, in that case it is an easy task to go in the direction that it was flying to obtain a lock again. On my test in Russia, at first I had no lock due to mountains, but after I traveled in the direction of...

GPS Tracker For Flyaways - Any Interest?

Why do all that? I use a Marco Polo. Buy it and totally free. Not dependent on phone tech or satellites. I have used it in many countries all over the world. My work has me traveling over 300 days a year. Including in Russia where it was flown and “lost” on purpose approx 1.5 miles away (by my...

    ‘Downgrading’ to Mavic Air

Absolutely agree with range (battery life) but had few issues with video transmission. Possibly because I fly litchi which has no bearing on controller connection, I never has an issue with control, as I meticulously set up my flights with altitude estimates from apps to get the camera angles...

    ‘Downgrading’ to Mavic Air

I love my air. I have a Pro and a M2Zoom. I get pretty good 4 K and in an editor I get great video with cinelike. As far as connection distance, fly high...I still get video with few dropouts. If you fly in Europe, use the “Android phone Map” fake out, to make your drone think it is in the...

GPS LOST ATTI MODE AND RC DISCONNECT

Marco Marco Polo is awesome! I tested it in the mountains in Southern Russia and it worked great!

DJI Goggles: Are they worth it???

Hello all, I have both the DJI goggles and the Epson Moverio BT300 Augmented Reality AR glasses. I love them both so much I do not know which to take with me sometimes! Both my Mavic Pro and Spark work well with both, and I travel the world in my job over 300 days each year using one or the...

Lost my Mavic on atti mode

Those are pretty nice. I almost bought one, but where I travel, I was worried about cell connections, etc. anyway, I ended up with a Marco Polo tracker. A little expensive at about $220, but is very small and light, uses no cell or satellites, has a 30 day battery life, and up to a 2 mile range...
