    New Firmware Here !

I love getting updates, and all the new goodies, but it's such a pain now that the updates have to come from DJI directly. I have a work profile on my Android phone that my employer requires me to have, and the security settings don't permit non Play Store updates. So every time there is an...

DJI FLY APP UPDATE _DJI have launched the new version 1.5.1 (2005) for android

Just to be clear, Google didn't drop support. DJI just decided they wanted to deliver the app directly, probably to avoid paying the Play Store their cut as the software distributor. Any inconvenience with it not coming via the Play Store is all on DJI.

NEW DJI FLY APP UPDATE FOR (ANDROID) VER. 1.4.12

This is how it's done on a Pixel 5. If you have a different Android phone it might be slightly different but the basic idea is the same. You need to allow the app to have media management Go to Settings Choose Apps and find the DJI Fly app (you might need to expand the list to see it) Tap...

Can't afford Photoshop- eh? Maybe try this...

If you're looking for something that does photo enhancements and corrections like Lightroom, check out Polarr. It runs entirely in the browser but also has installable versions as well for Mac and PC. It's a photo editor, not a photo repository, so it's not really designed for storing all your...

Can't afford Photoshop- eh? Maybe try this...

Try Polarr. Pretty decent alternative to LR. (Polarr | Express yourself & ignite the creative spark in others) - free and paid versions Also try Snapseed (although I wouldn't expect most people would be editing on mobile, it works on iPads too) ‎Snapseed - free

Can't afford Photoshop- eh? Maybe try this...

Take a look at Polarr (Polarr | Express yourself & ignite the creative spark in others) Not a bad alternative to LR and works on all major platforms, including a web based version if you just want to run it in the browser. It's pretty impressive. Free and paid versions. Also, check out...

    DJI Mavic pilots - Australia

Hey wolfborg, I don't know that I can recommend someone, so much as not recommend someone. Given that I only used one provider, that is the only one I can really comment on from personal experience. I did mine online with Droneit, but to be honest I would not recommend them. I found their...

    DJI Mavic pilots - Australia

Hey sorry, haven't been back here for a while. It's not open book (that's not Droneit's rule, that a CASA requirement). I know what you mean regarding the acronyms and terminologies... lots to remember. I guess a lot of it is actually pretty common sense, and especially if you have any kind...

What software is the best for editing vids and photos ?

I'm pretty settled on Adobe Premiere Pro. Powerful and full featured. It's become the industry standard for good reason. For simpler edits I have also used Wevideo on my Chromebook with good success too. Just need some decent bandwidth to get the original footage into the cloud, but once...

Will Mavic air 2 filters fit the Air2s ?

Can't say for sure, but the Air2 has a .5 inch sensor and the Air2S has a 1 inch sensor, so I'm betting not. They look to be very different sizes in photos I've seen.

    DJI Mavic pilots - Australia

I did it online with a mob based in Brisbane called DroneIt. There are pros and cons to their course I think. I found the practical aspect pretty easy. The theory has quite a lot of detail in it (far more than needed for remote flying IMO) but it was still interesting to learn about it...

    DJI Mavic pilots - Australia

Gday, I just joined this forum, so it's nice to be here. I'm Chris, live in the southwest of Sydney (in the 3nm exclusion zone of BKK Bankstown Airport) and I fly a Mavic Air 2. I recently completed my Remote Pilot licence and it was issued this week from CASA. I'm studying for the AROC exam...
