Lightroom doesn't appear to have built in profiles for the Mini 3 Pro. I've noticed the same thing. I couldn't find anything on DJI's site to download profiles for it.
I have the iMac 2015 and have no difficulty playing my M2P HEVC (H.265) clips in Quicktime or FCPX. I'm playing them from a spinning platter hard drive - not the internal SSD.
This refers to caching the video on your phone/tablet. Not what is going on with the SD card in the drone. Turn off or limit size of video caching on your device.
I actually think most people are tired of listening to the usual batch of complainers whenever there is a new drone. So the number of users having no problem gets under represented. There is so much whining that a potential real problem could be overlooked - as in the title of this thread.
iPad mini 2 is probably not able to keep up with all the processing that needs to be done. Others are noting same thing on older phones and tablets. I've not noted this on my iPhone X or iPad mini 4 with the Mav 2 Pro.
Crystal Sky software hasn't been updated to support the Mavic 2 yet. They keep saying it will be soon. :(
Also the Original Mavmount CS won't work with the M2. The Mavmount 2.0 that was made for the Mavic Air fits great. Until DJI updates the CS software I'll be flying my M2Pro with an iPad...
Ordered Mavic 2 Pro plus Flymore Combo on Friday morning. Just delivered a day early. It's sitting here on my desk, but I can't leave work to play with it until tonight.
