Just added a “flag” to remind me to remove the gimbal protector. Folds down to fit in case and springs up when out of it. What solutions have you guys came up with for being forgetful?

Well, after 2 batteries the gimbal seems to be perfectly level in all directions. Firmware was updated to latest on controller and drone first. If you are under warranty, and dont mind not having it for 3 weeks, cant hurt to send it in. Your milage may vary.

I've yet to see someone on any forum say that the problem was fixed by sending it in, I was hopeful. Then again people usually only go to forums when there is a problem so the viewpoint is skewed.

As suspected, I recieved a different drone (and smart controller). The manufacturing date on this one is January 2020 whereas the previous one was November 2019. Unfortunatly won't be able to tell if the repair that was stated was actually the problem. Getting batteries charged to take it out...

Given from what I've read, I'm most likely going to get a drone pulled off the "fixed" shelf with a new serial number. If I do It would have a different compass and internals so the diagnosis isnt necessarily the actual problem. I'll let yall know.

I sent mine in, according to DJI's repair team its the "Mavic 2 Pro Gimbal Axis Arm Module (RH) " thats being replaced. I don't have a lot of faith that is the problem. $235 if not under warranty.

I live very close to the WLW tower and did a calibration. Now my gimbal horizon is slanted, but only in two opposite directions. If im not facing those directions its perfectly level. My theory is that something got magnetized in the process (hopefully that simple). Just wanting to try something...

Does anyone near the Cincinnati area happen to have a Cfixer or degaussing tool they have used on their drone? They are out of stock on amazon, and ebay will take more than a month to get here. I dont know if I can just use any degaussing tool. I've been having very strange horizon leveling...

Does it only happen when facing a certain direction? I'm having a very similar issue. When facing a very specific direction the gimbal will skew, any other direction and its fine. I can even rotate around quickly, having the horizon level, and it will stay level as long as I dont point in that...
