I know how much they don’t want us using workarounds. I still have a Mavic Pro, controller, Assistant 2 and Go4 on an old iPad mini and which are running some very old software. Everything still works and none of it will get updated.
Not as good as it seems. @GadgetGuy pointed out that while Mini 3 and 4 batteries will both fit, DJI recommend not using them as they are different voltages and there have been problems with them. There’s also a reference to syncing flight data and waypoints flights across drones which won’t...
Seeing as in UK & Europe C0 drones are limited to 120m above TAKE OFF POINT rather than 120m above ground & green flashing lights that have to work at all times, yes C1 would be an advantage.
And here is a photo of the stickers, instructions and EASA Drone Notices for C1.
As I said before, you applied the stickers, uploaded photographs to DJI and once approved by DJI you’d have access to C1 firmware.
When you change between mini 4 and Mini 5 drones on the RC2 the routine includes comments that firmware has been installed. I’ve not checked the firmware versions for my RC2 as I’ve not installed the latest updates so I don’t have the restrictions of the latest versions.
The OP may not have access to another controller to try.
Anyway, he was only on the forum for about 30 minutes, never to be seen again, so not really interested in finding out the real reason his drone was drifting to the right!
If you are in California try changing the location at the top of the DJI website to Canada or any other English speaking country and the manual should be there. It’s working for me.
