    I flew the Agras T20 and T30

As it goes I did just get a second hand but never used P4 RTK, along with the base station, SDK controller, extra batteries etc, all in one of those hard plastic cases at a reasonable price. It seems there's no point in the Agras without RTK if there's any obstacles at all, and there always...

    I flew the Agras T20 and T30

Love my MPP! I really need a P4RTK to go with my spray drone, but my boss has all that and I've spent enough for now.

    I flew the Agras T20 and T30

It's like a mix match of all sorts. RePL 7kg, then upgraded to 25kg, then an onsite CASA assessment on my actual drone. ReOC, which is a license for my company to operate drones commercially. Aroc (I think), which is commercial air radio use. Night flying, which I think is fairly new for...

    I flew the Agras T20 and T30

It's actually pretty mutually agreeable. Plus we're both about the same age and don't get into the crying and squealing that passes for normal these days. I know he needs people, and he knows I'm old school and doing the right thing. I've told him I don't want a wages job, but as a contractor...

It is a great opportunity at 53yo. I do watch those videos as well, and that's exactly what we are doing except not in such open country. The geofencing and obstacle avoidance gets a workout where we have been going. I've just enrolled in the mother of all courses, covering CASA and EPA. It's...

    I flew the Agras T20 and T30

It's an absolute pain in the arse from a farming point of view. I just can't catch a break, it's pouring right now and we'll get over 100mm. The weeds are growing and the food's dying.... I'm losing the place back to the weeds and mud.

    I flew the Agras T20 and T30

Yes I'm a bit off topic, but I'll film the thing with my MPP to make it all kosher. I've ordered one today, and got the last T20 in Australia. I could only get one battery charger, but the dealer is getting me in another plus a seed spreader for it. In the meantime I have started booking all my...

    Buying second hand

Actually barely used sets turn up all the time, and they can be very cheap. For me second hand is almost the only way to go, as people buy them and don't use them, then sell them much cheaper than they cost new. As above, connect the app and check it's history. Definitely pass on pawn shops.

    I flew the Agras T20 and T30

As I've mentioned before, I'm a farmer in a very flood affected area. After almost 2 years of waterlogged fields, It got just dry enough for me to operated machinery and start cleaning up.... and we got hit with another 100mm of rain. In frustration I contacted a couple of drone spray...

    New Mavic Pro Owner

I've got an 8" Lenovo tablet on mine. It's an amazing tablet for the price, but can be hard to see in the sun. It's still good enough for me all the same.

    Just bought RE goggles

I'm almost certain my 5D button doesn't work with the goggles on, but to be honest it's all so daunting that I'm not fully over all the controls yet. I'll check again. Yes, for fishing flicking the gimbal up and down fast will be very handy. I need to learn waypoints and practice plotting a...

Goggles for a Mavic pro (M1P)

I'm using my reading glasses under my goggles and they work fine. Mine are a bit bigger though, like an 80's highway patrol officer minus the dark tint and moustache, so I don't notice the frames.

    Total Noob

So here's an issue I'm running into. If I adjust the exposure for the kind of color I want, the blacks and in particular the shadows become way too dark. If I adjust for reasonable darks the rest of the image seems overexposed. Yesterday I flew over the farm using the goggles. I had an ND16...

    Total Noob

And here's another attempt out on the farm. It was an absolutely bright glaring day, unusually so, so I went with the ND32 filter which was probably a mistake. I'm clearly underexposed in this one. I think trying to set your exposure by looking at the tablet outdoors is not a good idea, and...

    Just bought RE goggles

It seems I have to turn the head tracking back on each time I start it if I want it. It doesn't seem to save the last setting. I haven't flown with that on yet, I just did it in the fixed setting in the backyard today which was fine for now. I see the head tracking gimbal being useful if I fly a...
