Thanks GhostRider. Unfortunately I was so concerned that this could be a worse issue with the drone so I decided to returm it. I just wasn't sure if it was Wi-Fi interference or drone. Had to play it safe.

I recommend you do an IMU calibration then go and download the DJI assistant 2 and refresh the latest firmware.

Did turning on Airplane mode work? I'm also having video distortion.
